Police and Community briefs for May 23, 2011
May 23, 2011 | Florida Highway Patrol cited the driver of an SUV pulling a sailboat that jackknifed on Interstate 75 on Saturday for failing to properly secure his 25-foot vessel, a report states.
No one was injured, and no other vehicles were damaged in the accident, which propelled the boat off its trailer and caused traffic to back up for hours, the report states.
The report states that Thomas Joseph Martin, 64, of Green Cove Springs, was driving his 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer north on I-75 at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday while towing the boat.
Moments after passing the U.S. 27 exit, a large truck passed the Trailblazer and the boat trailer began to swerve, commonly called fishtailing.
The vehicle then jackknifed, the boat separated from the trailer and slid about 100 feet, coming to rest in the center and outside lanes.

Can I use a BBQ with my popup trailer?
Jul 01, 2008 by Sir_Fin_Waves
I have a portable BBQ and coleman stove that I want to use with my pop up trailer I just purchased. The connectors are not the same on the BBQ / Coleman stove to allow it to connect to the trailer. Does anyone know if you can buy connectors? The BBQ / Coleman did not come with trailer.
best thing to do is check with your local camping supply store. there may be an adapter you can purchase. good luck
Where could I find someone to invest in my BBQ Concession trailer business?
Oct 23, 2007 by pmmm_65459
My husband & I have created & tested the recipes and have restaurant background but need capital.
We live in southcentral Missouri and really have a need for a GOOD BBQ place here. It would make a great investment.
put an ad in your local newspaper or on craigslist. make sure you have a good lawyer and contract written out. people tend to be real touchy when you use their money!
