Can we use both Galvanized and stainless steel chimney pipe in a chimney?

i am trying to sell our galvanized chimney pipe on Craigslist, and the guy who is interested has stainless steel pipes he's trying to match up, the twist and lock are the same and they are the same size but one is galvanized and one is stainless steel, will these be ok to use together?

yes,
one being stainless will not react with the galvanized
when 2 different metals are hooked together you get a reaction dissimilar metals
How much does it cost to get a stainless steel chimney stack that is about 6 feet tall be 8 inches?

My hubby is a roofer the chimney stack should run about $120 and depending on the pitch of the roof roughly $120 and up to install it. If you are a do it yourself guy measure the outside edge of the flute and go to a roofing supply store, if the pitch isn't to high, it just gets screwed in...
Stainless steel is the way to go with that price, aluminum ones may be more prone to rust
