I was considering getting a mural similar to the ones at http://judithaucoin.com because I LOVE her paintings. I can never get through to ask her if they are safe to use around a fireplace or will it ruin the paint?
I put a mural in my bathroom over my garden tub and next to my shower. I use my water in there Hot, Hot, Hot and I have had no problem as far as peeling off or discoloration. I have had it up a year.
