He’ll be 37 when he joins fellow Americans Ryan Hall, 29, and Abdi Abdirahman, 34, another African-born runner, in the marathon at the London Olympics this summer. Keflezighi, who was born in the African nation of Eritrea, but immigrated to the U. S. with his family when he was 12, will soon reach another finish line in his distinguished running career. Last January, at the age of 36, he became the oldest man to win the U. S. Olympic marathon trials with a personal best of 2 hours, 9 minutes and 8 seconds.

How can you take paint off of a wood fireplace mantle without making a mess?

My husband and I just bought a brand new home, and the builders painted the wood mantle (on the fireplace) white. I wanted to stain it a dark wood. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to how we can do it without having to do a ton of sanding...this would make a huge mess in our living room.
you could always take it to a cabinet shop and have them plane it down....i've done this before to remove scratches.
