I need to know how much this would cost if I called a furnace person to clean it? The furnace is probably from the 70s or 80s and is a "spark ignition" furnace. Thank you! During winter, is it better to have your furnace fan blowing all of the time,as opposed to on auto? I live in Chicago, where it we are having sub-zero temps right now.
Some DJ on the radio said that it is more efficient and better for your furnace to keep the fan blowing all of the time when it is very cold. Is this true? What is the logic behind it if it is? Thank you! Our furnace man told us the same thing.... our fan is on "ON" year round...
