Thanks, Vince if you removed the wires for the motor from a control board or the "fan and limit control" and put power to it as you suggest in your question then the problem is the fan board or the fan and limit control (the latter is used in alot of older units) the fan board is probably about 50-100 dollars or the fan and limit control is a little bit cheaper. you may have to have a service tech replace sell either to you and install it as well...probably a good idea as he will make sure the furnace is operating properly too.
