Gas spill at marina, auto battery fire prompt calls
May 22, 2012 | 30 , 9:42 p. m. , 712 John Ross Way – Engine 1, Ladder 1, and Rescue 14 responded to a
cooking fire and found that an unintentional fire had ignited in an apartment’s kitchen. 31, 7:24 p. m. , 604 Portside Drive – Engine 1 investigated a possible gasoline like from a boat at the marina and found that a boat had leaked a small amount of hydraulic fluid prior to firefighters’ arrival. 31, 10:35 a. m. , 433 S. Main St. , Archer’s Towing – Engine 1 investigated a possible vehicle fire. Emergency personnel referred the incident to Davidson Police and North Carolina Fish and Wildlife officials after determining that the incident occurred on the

how do I get my gas fireplace remote control to work. I changed batteries, but fireplace only works in local.

Fireplace works well in local mode, but in remote mode, the remote does not talk to the fireplace. I believe it is an RF transmitter, but the control at the firplace is plug in. Can't find batteries in it if there are any
Try finding a website for the manufacturer of the remote and/or the fireplace. Your problem might be a common one with an easy fix.

I don't know what kind of valve you have and that determines wether or not you can use a remote. If the valve has three terminals that are labelled TH, TP, and THTP then you can for sure. Hope this helps!
