I agree. Your best bet is to buy from a local dealer in the area if possible. If something should go wrong with the unit (it happens no matter what brand you get) or you need a replacement part, you will not be able to get the parts from just anyone but an authorized dealer of whatever brand product you buy. Buying from a non-dealer will not give you this same option. Most of the time they only care about making the sale, and not the maintenence of the product they sell. A good company/seller will have trained professionals who will be able to work on the units if something should happen. Also, if you have something breaks on your unit, and depending on how old it is, you may get repair parts under warranty--those usually can only be done through authorized dealers ONLY. Aside from everything already stated, authorized dealers will be able to answer and find out anything you need to know about your product. They know what they sell!
Play it safe and buy products from local dealers.
