It’s a time to think as optimistically about the Rockies as if you worked for Root Sports, spin 20 different ways Drew Pomeranz will win 20 games (some day) and argue with your buddies whether Carlos Gonzalez or Troy Tulowitzki will take home the... Is a small Holmes electric heater safe to operate while sleeping?
Oct 31, 2007 by pricetravel
I can't bear the thought of filling up the oil tank at 3 dollars a gallon (or thereabout)
We are trying to use the space heater as much as possible . We have one in the living room and one in the bedroom.
How safe are they? I am afraid a fan will stop and cause a fire or something.
If you aren't using it on an extension cord, if you have it placed away from the wall & furniture and anything else combustible, there should be no problem. I'd make sure your smoke alarms have fresh batteries. It appears most house fires are caused by people who misuse the space heaters (curtains catch fire, electric outlets overheat etc.)
