Is there such a thing as a far infrared sauna made with natural materials?

My friend has systemic lupus, raynauds, and gulf war disease which is a rare bacteria that doesn't respond to anything. It doesn't have a cell wall and goes thru barriers of every kind in the body. We feel far infrared would help her but are worried about the plastics that most of them are made of.
My infrared sauna is constructed out of cedar panels. Many out there on the market are, as far as I know.
Health Mate Saunas and Sunlight Saunas are 2 manufacturers that I know of you can check into.
Are traditional saunas or far infrared sauna better?

Are traditional sauna or far infrared sauna better?Which has more benefits and which do you prefer?
People who sell the infrared ones say they're better and pull out toxins better but ive always found the traditional saunas more relaxing
Thankyou
It's a personal preference issue.
The traditional saunas use heating methods that heat the whole room including the air. Some people love this because the warm feeling is more relaxing, but some people hate this because they can't get it too hot or it makes it hard to breathe.
With infrared saunas, the infrared heat actually penetrates the body and heats you from the inside as opposed to heating the air. That means that the air doesn't get so hot and you can actually get it hotter in there, which makes you sweat more (which is why they say it pulls out toxins better).
Some people like one and hate the other, some are the exact opposite, so it's really up to personal preference. I hope I helped!
