Luxury Home: Capitol, Mall, market in Mews' neighborhood
May 22, 2012 | Official gardens such as the U. S. Botanic Garden and the fountains and gardens surrounding government buildings are open to local residents along with parks such as Garfield Park , Stanton Park and Lincoln Park. For a lucky few residents of the new Congressional Mews development at 21 D St. SE, the flowers and fountains of Congressional Park will be their front yard. The newly built town-home-style condominiums of Congressional Mews are one block from the Capitol South Metro station and steps from the Capitol building. I was moving my wood fireplace mantel and somehow while I was doing it I created a quarter size bump in the wood. I have been working on sanding in down but I understand there may be some kind of way to use a heated rod to get the wood to settle. Would you suggest I do this or is there a better way?
